Job Title Dishwashing and Kitchen Support Role The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the back-of-house area, ensuring all dish stations and zones function efficiently.This is a full-time opportunity to work in a dynamic kitchen environment, supporting dishwashing operations, stock control, and general cleaning tasks.Arrive on time and ready for each scheduled shift.Break down and clean dishwashing machines thoroughly during and after service.Change dish machine water and debris baskets hourly for optimal performance.Maintain chemical levels and report low stock to supervisors.Refresh wash, rinse, and sanitizer tanks in the three-compartment sink regularly.Ensure sanitizer test strips are available and follow hygiene standards.Keeppickysink shelves dry and organized, and handwashing stations fully stocked.Maintain clean, orderly dish stations with a tidy soil table for efficient operations.Empty trash and recycling bins on schedule and as needed.Clean soaking basins and store non-food orders and BOH supplies systematically.Maintain a clean slop sink, glass rack area, and assist with kitchen equipment organization.Follow all opening and closing procedures assigned by supervisors.Required Skills and Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: Minimum 1 year of experience as a steward or similar role.Physical fitness with the ability to lift kitchen equipment and stand for long periods.Strong work ethic, reliable time management, and willingness to follow cleaning schedules.Basic communication skills in English (verbal and written).Able to work as part of a team and maintain positive relationships with colleagues.Benefits This role offers a range of benefits, including: Competitive salary.Ongoing training and development opportunities.A supportive and collaborative work environment.Disclaimer We take pride in providing a safe and respectful work environment.
