Drainage Infrastructure Project Manager

Job Description We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Assistant Resident Engineer. The successful candidate will support and work on projects associated with stormwater, drainage, flood alleviation, wastewater networks, and water distribution networks.The role involves undertaking investigations, planning, designing, tendering, contract administration, and construction supervising & monitoring. The successful candidate will be based in Abu Dhabi.This is a mid-senior level position that requires a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and eight years of experience in miscellaneous drainage work projects. Experience in SWS water infrastructure projects is an advantage.Key Responsibilities: Support the Resident Engineer in administering operational functions of day-to-day activities on the project.Interact with contractors, sub-contractors, laboratories, and monitor construction work on a daily basis.Coordinate with government departments, contractors, consultants, and public to facilitate progress and avoid delays.Maintain logs of project progress, hand-over, and final accounts.Arrange progress meetings for utilities with service authorities' representatives, minute them, and distribute records as required.Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.Eight years of experience in miscellaneous drainage work projects.Experience in SWS water infrastructure projects is an advantage.Strong technical skills and knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
