Batch Operation Analyst

Join to apply for the Batch Operation Analyst role at Dicetek LLC.The Batch Operations unit supports critical 24x7 data processing activities for the entire Group.The operator should have skills to perform/execute EODs for Core Banking, Consumer Asset, Data applications, and other satellite applications.They should also have the ability to operate enterprise scheduler applications, most commonly used for file processing and automating batch operations tasks.Main Tasks Perform Core Banking (including international locations) and other Tier1/2/3/4 applications EOD processes according to SOPs & work instructions.Execute ATM Maintenance / Refresh CAF & PBF jobs on Base24 application for the Group and third parties.Monitor and re-trigger failed batch jobs related to Data application components (Hadoop, Informatica, Power BI) based on SOPs.Vigilantly monitor consoles such as Grafana and Control M; provide L1 support tasks like rerunning failed jobs, removing conditions, changing schedule times, etc.Quickly escalate incidents related to IT operations jobs during shifts.Ensure timely delivery of GLIF and reports to Finance and other business units.Transfer & upload customer statements and cheque books generated during EOD processes.Prepare EOD statistics for reporting purposes.Monitor Swift Alliance Access Jobs & file transfers through Control M and other utilities.Prepare shift handovers for smooth and error-free backlog transfers to the next shift.Maintain processing checklists, SOPs & work instruction documents.Perform UAT EOD/SOD testing and simulations for new projects.Strict adherence to group policies & bank's audit and compliance requirements.Coordinate with L2, L3, and admin support teams until batch-related jobs are resolved.Perform daily health checks of data applications as per SOP.Conduct periodic service restarts of data applications based on SOP.Experience Experience in complex environments characterized by high availability, high transaction rates, and geographical complexity.5+ years in IT Operations within organizations of over 4000 users, with at least 3 years in banking.Technical/Functional Skills Good knowledge of enterprise scheduler application Control M.Intermediate knowledge of Unix & Windows OS.Clear understanding of monitoring and processing concepts.Knowledge of Informatica and Hadoop products related to batch job execution.Functional and processing knowledge of Finacle.Additional Details Seniority level: Not Applicable Employment type: Contract Job function: Management and Manufacturing Industries: IT Services and IT Consulting Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Dicetek LLC by 2x.Get notified about new Operations Analyst jobs in Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.Posted in Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates 9 hours ago.Note: The job posting does not indicate it is expired and appears active.#J-18808-Ljbffr
