Experienced Joinery Project Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Finishing Foreman to oversee and manage all joinery finishing works on-site. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality workmanship, adherence to project timelines, and compliance with safety standards.Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Supervise and coordinate finishing joinery works, including woodwork, cabinetry, doors, panels, and other interior fit-out elements.Quality Control: Ensure all joinery work meets quality standards and project specifications.Resource Allocation: Plan and allocate resources, including manpower, materials, and tools, to achieve project milestones.Documentation: Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and project specifications.Site Inspections: Conduct site inspections to identify defects and implement corrective actions.Collaboration: Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow.Safety Management: Maintain a safe and organized work environment, following health and safety regulations.Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance and support to the joinery team.Record Keeping: Keep records of site activities, progress reports, and material usage.Requirements: Experience: A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in joinery finishing works, preferably in the construction or fit-out industry.Education: A diploma or certification in Carpentry, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of joinery materials, finishes, and installation techniques.Leadership Skills: Ability to manage and lead a team of carpenters and laborers.Communication Skills: Proficiency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.Problem-Solving: Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve site-related issues efficiently.Work Ethics: Attention to detail, time management, and commitment to quality workmanship.Preferred Qualifications: International Experience: Experience working in GCC countries.Software Skills: Familiarity with Auto CAD and other construction-related software.Driving License: Valid UAE/GCC driving license (if required).
