Senior Bridge Construction Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to assist in design review and construction related to structural works of the project.This role involves working closely with the Resident Engineer to supervise the construction of bridges/viaducts and related items, coordinating activities with other engineers and the construction supervision team, and reviewing shop drawings, design proposals, method statements, and related correspondence.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university, at least 6 years of experience in construction supervision of bridges and underpasses, and proficiency in computer software relevant to engineering and construction.Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for this role. Experience supervising major bridges and infrastructure projects in the Gulf region is highly desirable.Job Responsibilities: Report to the Resident Engineer and assist in supervising the construction of bridges/viaducts and related items Coordinate activities with other engineers and the construction supervision team Assist in reviewing shop drawings, design proposals, method statements, and related correspondence, preparing review responses for the Resident Engineer Coordinate with Parsons' design engineers to resolve issues Maintain daily diaries and reports by inspectors Coordinate with contractor engineers on scheduling and resource application Monitor inspectors and surveyors' performance Chair meetings with authorities, contractors, subcontractors, and related parties Ensure records are accurate and complete Oversee safety procedures and ensure safety goals are met Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports Participate in health and safety initiatives at the site Provide on-site direction and assist in issuing site instructions related to utilities and other items Measure, record, and assist in displaying work progress Ensure 'as-built' drawings are correct and complete Manage records and assist in handing over structures to authorities, obtaining final clearances Required Skills: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university At least 6 years of experience in construction supervision of bridges and underpasses Ability to review material submissions, analyze reports, and ensure compliance with specifications Proficiency in computer software relevant to engineering and construction Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal Benefits: We value diversity and employment at all levels regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or genetic information.
