Data Center Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing data center equipment and facilities, as well as ensuring that designs and installations meet requirements.Key Responsibilities: Coordinate activities ranging from simple tasks to complex plans Provide onsite and on-call assistance to end-users within the desktop computing environment in a timely and accurate fashion Troubleshoot technical issues and respond promptly to emergencies IT Skills and Experience: Designing data center equipment and facilities Keeping accurate records of all activities and ensuring documentation is up-to-date Troubleshooting technical issues Managing power sources, heating, and cooling controls inside the facility Cable management, including securing, color coding, and documenting wiring Data center system-level architecture Operations and maintenance procedures Cross-functional team collaboration Regular updates to stakeholders Server setup and configuration Conducting regular inspections to ensure systems are functioning correctly Hardware upgrades to maintain system efficiency Audits and solutions for identified concerns Compliance with industry standards and regulations Environment monitoring system management Data integrity and security Comprehensive reporting Implementing and maintaining robust security measures Personal Attributes: Excellent end-user computing skills Good knowledge of infrastructure support Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Well-organized and extremely detail-oriented Strong customer service ethic and excellent communication skills Passionate about delivering quality Ability to work independently and collaboratively Fondness for simple, elegant, and effective solutions Ability to work with and maintain confidential information In-depth Knowledge: Windows OS (e.g., XP, Vista, Windows 7, 10)Microsoft Office applications Laptop hardware Laptop peripherals, including printers Mobile devices Basic Knowledge: Active Directory Exchange Apple OSSCCMIT Qualifications: PCLaptop OEM Maintenance Certification Comp TIA A+ Certification Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) certification in the desktop area Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification
