Solar Power System Designer

Job Description: We are seeking a talented Design Engineer to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to be a productive team member of Solar PV design team and support the company's strategic growth through direct engagement with BD/Sales Team and Operations Team.The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with hands-on experience in solar PV design. They will be responsible for managing end-to-end processes of Lead-to-Contract and Contract-to-Execution, including preliminary data analysis, technical recommendations, and project single line diagrams.In addition, they will maintain close relationships with the core design team and execution team to ensure proper transfer of experience and knowledge. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of solar technologies and products, as well as region-specific regulations and issues required for effective designs.Responsibilities: Active participation in end-to-end processes of lead-to-contract and contract-to-execution Preliminary data analysis and technical recommendations Project single line diagrams and shading analysis Maintenance of close relationships with core design and execution teams Requirements: Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputable institution Hands-on design exposure using at least one or multiple solar PV software e.g. PVSyst, Helioscope, Sketch up, Homer etc.Knowledge of Auto CAD and ETAP setting calculation Full understanding of solar technologies and products Experience: Minimum 2 years of work experience in solar PV design field in the UAESkills and Qualities: Ability to prioritize and handle numerous competing demands in a high-volume, fast-paced working environment Fully organized, well structured, available and committed with a high sense of responsibility Self-motivated and able to manage stress and work under pressure Excellent teamwork quality
