Seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead international trade and commerce initiatives for a company. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of customs regulations, tariff structures, and trade laws to facilitate seamless import-export operations.The successful incumbent will be responsible for monitoring and coordinating international shipments, preparing and reviewing documentation, and liaising with stakeholders including suppliers, clients, shipping agents, and government entities.Key Responsibilities Develop and implement strategies to optimize shipping routes and methods, ensuring timely and cost-effective transit.Prepare and complete comprehensive documentation for all import and export transactions, ensuring compliance with international regulations.Analyze logistics operations to identify areas for improvement and suggest effective solutions to enhance efficiency.Negotiate and arrange transport of goods with shipping and freight partners, ensuring smooth operations.Manage customs clearance processes, resolve issues promptly, and maintain contacts with customs officials, trade bodies, and logistics providers.Work closely with finance to ensure accurate duty payment and bookkeeping, providing valuable insights to support business growth.Collaborate with internal departments to align on import-export strategies, driving business excellence.Requirements Bachelor's degree in International Business, Logistics, or a related field.Minimum of 3+ years experience in import-export or relevant logistics industry.In-depth knowledge of international trade compliance and customs procedures.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and negotiation abilities.Proficient in using logistics software and standard computing applications.Capability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines efficiently.
