Pharmacist - Healthcare Professional About the Role: This role is responsible for providing effective pharmaceutical services to customers by dispensing prescribed medications and offering information on medication use.Key Responsibilities: The pharmacist reviews prescriptions to ensure accuracy, assesses customer needs, and evaluates drug suitability.They provide customers with information on drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and proper medication storage.The pharmacist compounds and dispenses medications as prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.They ensure customer understanding by conducting necessary questioning and providing assistance when required.Achieving sales targets involves using sales techniques, upselling, and cross-selling of all categories.The pharmacist orders and purchases pharmaceutical supplies, maintains stock, and handles inventory management.They comply with local rules and regulations regarding pharmacy activities, including preparation, labeling, and delivery of medication and other pharmaceutical supplies.Maintaining and reporting the pharmacy's records as required by external authorities is also a responsibility.The pharmacist advises customers on medication selection, medical equipment, or healthcare supplies and trains them on device usage.Developing strong relationships with local physicians and healthcare practitioners is essential for strengthening business objectives.Liaising with insurance companies to process insurance claims and resolve billing issues is also required.Handling daily operational tasks such as inventory management, expiry management, merchandising, etc. is part of this role.Coaching and guiding Trainee Pharmacists in preparation for graduation or licensure is another responsibility.Managing monthly reports related to controlled medicine sales as required by external authorities is also assumed by designated pharmacists.Job Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy is required.License from the Department of Health is mandatory.A minimum of 1 year experience as a registered pharmacist in the UAE is needed.Strong English and/or Arabic language skills (written and spoken) are essential.Merchandising skills, product knowledge, problem-solving skills, quality, and customer service orientation are also required.Internal Interactions: Store Manager Retail Team External Interactions: Customers, Vendors, and Distributors
