Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to oversee structural engineering aspects of new roads and bridges. This role will involve supervising and coordinating activities on construction sites, conducting site inspections, collaborating with other disciplines, and ensuring adherence to quality standards.Supervise and coordinate structural engineering activities on construction sites Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with approved plans and quality standards Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to resolve technical issues Follow up on inspection results and review inspector performance regularly Update project managers on progress and include relevant information in reports Review and maintain records as built Coordinate services for assigned projects Consult with the design team on material reviews and design queries Implement and maintain quality control procedures for structural elements Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred)Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification Minimum 12 years' experience in construction supervision of operation and maintenance of bridges and roads Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards in the UAEExcellent project management skills with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills Exceptional report writing and communication abilities Experience in managing large-scale construction projects In-depth understanding of building materials, methods, and quality control processes Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment Benefits: AECOM offers comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of its employees.
