Our mission is to deliver world-class solutions that ensure the integrity and reliability of critical assets.Job Description Auditing existing corrosion monitoring systems for oil, gas, and water streams and reporting their functionality and locations representing actual corrosion rates.Reviewing site monitoring reports and issuing reports for required actions on non-conforming locations.Optimizing and streamlining corrosion monitoring for different processes and cutting out unnecessary or ineffective practices to deliver efficiency and cost savings.Corrosion management performance review and preparation of corrosion management reports.Proposing and reporting up-to-date, new, and representative more corrosion monitoring techniques.Auditing water injection system performance and reporting corrective actions on corrosion and quality of water across the system.Ensuring that corrosion monitoring fits into general basis of design and safe operations plans.Providing and reporting assurance that assets and processes will be in the best possible position for online and intrusive corrosion monitoring.New projects corrosion monitoring review and recommendations.Review of existing and future corrosion monitoring facilities.Gathering and reporting corrosion control data to support corrosion management KPI reporting for all sites.Reviewing periodic site corrosion monitoring reports and reporting required actions on non-conforming locations.Keeping records of all corrosion monitoring locations and methods on relevant technical drawings including details about the system, location, isometric, monitoring method, and orientation.Ensuring application of scheduled maintenance programs, service of corrosion monitoring stations, installed equipment, and recording data in computer database.Root cause analysis (RCA) studies and detailed investigation of failures of corrosion control and monitoring systems, as well as corrosion-related damage and failures of process equipment and systems.Comprehensive corrosion risk assessments to optimize corrosion management programs including corrosion control, corrosion monitoring, and inspection activities.Developing corrosion circuits, defining degradation mechanisms, quantifying degradation rates, and recommending appropriate corrosion control, monitoring, and inspection programs.Corrosion modeling, growth, and life time predictions.Aging asset life extension.Development of corrosion control and material selection philosophy for projects and/or update of existing corrosion control manuals.Conducting probabilistic risk assessment and risk analysis (PRA/QRA) taking account of input uncertainties.Determining risks associated with processes, assets, and systems and advising engineering solutions to mitigate/eliminate/manage these risks.Evaluation of current materials attributes and limitations.Identification of alternative candidate materials based on operating environment, cost, and manufacturing constraints.Evaluating material change through comprehensive product testing.Improving existing materials, products, processes, and technologies.Development of material adequacy reports.Requirements Minimum 15 years industry experience, out of which 5 years as a consultant or specialist engineer in the relevant discipline and service category.Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering in the relevant discipline.NACE Corrosion Specialist Certification OR NACE Specialist Certification in Specific Specialization Area OR other equivalent internationally recognized certification from professional institution or society for corrosion engineers in the specific discipline and service category.Specialist Engineer should have contributed to oil and gas industry consultancy projects as a discipline specialist or consultant, authored or made significant contributions to reports of similar services and/or published research or industry related studies in the relevant discipline and service category in reputed international journals.Benefits Prominent career development opportunities.Competitive compensation and benefits package.Skills and Qualifications Knowledgeable and experienced with reputed oil and gas operators worldwide in all aspects of corrosion engineering and management.Demonstrate sound background relating to internal corrosion monitoring management and computer data analysis.Keyword: Corrosion Engineering
