Project Leader Engineering

Responsibilities As a Project Leader Engineering, you will work on interesting, international sorting systems. Your role involves translating sales system designs into operational systems and guiding projects from start to finish.From Sales to Go-live You will lead multidisciplinary projects, managing time, quality, costs, and functionalities across mechanical, electrical, and controls aspects. Collaborating with colleagues, you'll identify synergies between parallel projects to learn and improve.After sales handover, you'll work closely with customers and project management during the engineering definition phase to agree on system functionalities and develop project plans, considering resources, supply chain, and installation needs.Once the system design is approved, your team will create specifications for production and procurement, coordinating with supply chain and suppliers to ensure quality, schedule, and costs. You will oversee system emulations, site installation, commissioning, and testing, culminating in acceptance tests and go-live celebrations.You will continuously identify and mitigate project risks, develop your team's skills, stay updated on technological advancements, and suggest process improvements. We seek a decisive, pragmatic, and enthusiastic individual for this role.Your profile Bachelor's or master's degree in a technical subject Knowledge of Mechanics, Electronics, Controls, or Mechatronics Several years of experience as a project leader or lead engineer in technical environments Proficiency in English; Dutch is preferred Willing to travel internationally (15-20%)Diversity & Inclusion Vanderlande is an equal opportunity employer.
