Senior Piping Engineer This role involves providing engineering support in daily construction and modification site activities related to piping and equipment installation works for onshore and offshore oil and gas facilities.Key responsibilities include preparing and reviewing construction-related method statements, work instructions, material approval requests, and risk mitigation procedures prior to submission for approval.The successful candidate will contribute to construction completion dossiers and monitor the quality and performance of work carried out by contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with industry standards.Regular site progress meetings will be held with contractors and clients to review progress and performance, identify technical and constructability issues, and communicate necessary actions.The Senior Piping Engineer will support the Lead Project Engineer in coordinating installation and modification works with stakeholders.Assistance in preparing weekly progress updates, resource requirements, drawings, document availability, and schedule look-aheads, reporting any deviations or delays is also required.Expedite resolution of technical queries from contractors and provide technical guidance as needed.Site arrangement studies will be conducted to optimize accessibility and erection methods, ensuring access for personnel, materials, and equipment.Review past construction experiences to identify lessons learned and propose improved work methods.Provide construction input into the project master schedule, including sequencing and activity durations.Support in developing project estimates and budgets, including transportation costs.Plan and identify temporary works required during construction.Evaluate risks, materials, and costs involved in projects.Offer technical advice and innovative solutions for construction challenges.Oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained.Lead and supervise the on-site construction team and monitor progress.Participate in feasibility studies, bid proposals, and environmental impact assessments.Ensure compliance with legal, environmental, and health and safety regulations.C coordinate effectively with contractors and project stakeholders.Schedule material and equipment procurement and delivery.Preferred qualifications include previous ADNOC project experience and familiarity with Das Island and construction sequences.Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 10-15 years minimum experience in Oil & Gas.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, leadership, coordination, analytical, and proactive approach.Proficiency in industry-specific software such as Auto CAD, Navisworks, and other CAD tools.
