We value the passion and enthusiasm of our colleagues and encourage you to share your passion when you work with us.A little taste of your day-to-day: Work with AMC contractors to carry out preventive & corrective maintenance.Maintain the hotel in your qualified trade to the desired standard Complete work orders as requested by the Chief Engineer to meet customer requirements Initiate/identify improvement work required throughout the hotel for FLS issues.Implement and action the preventative maintenance program Demonstrate flexibility in changing the work schedule considering guest priorities General building minor maintenance repairs Ensure plant rooms are checked and cleaned and are in operating order Respond to requests from departments regarding minor maintenance issues throughout the day Conduct lighting checks to ensure all globes are in working order Carry out any minor repairs to guest rooms or public areas Liaise directly with departments regarding the completion of work orders and prioritise in order of guest satisfaction What we need from you: Basic knowledge on low voltage system Experience of Fire Alarm System network/ELV system network such as EBS, PA system, CCTV, ANPR etc.Experience of Fire Fighting System network/Kitchen hood Ansul system, LPG monitoring system,Experience of (DM) Dubai Municipality and (DCD) Dubai Civil Defence regulations - Optional At least 2-year previous experience in a similar role in a 4*-5* property Good communication skills What you can expect from us We give our people everything they need to succeed, from a competitive salary that rewards all your hard work to a wide range of benefits designed to help you live your best work life – including impressive room discounts and some of the best training in the business.Our mission is to welcome everyone and create inclusive teams where we celebrate differences and encourage colleagues to bring their whole selves to work.
