Manager/Sr. Manager Business Development – Technology Solutions The Manager/Sr. Manager of Business Development will be responsible for the Technology Solutions business across the Middle East and Africa. With over 80+ Process Licensed Technologies in our portfolio, the focus will be on driving growth in both conventional and energy transition projects. The role requires a proactive approach to creating opportunities, with strong management skills to navigate complex internal interfaces across Product Service Lines (PSL), Operations, Finance, and Legal, as well as understanding client organizations to foster partnerships. The ideal candidate will have deep energy industry knowledge, combined with business development and negotiation skills.Key Responsibilities Achieve and exceed revenue and KPI targets, demonstrating success in driving business growth and profitability in key markets.Lead business development initiatives in MEA, focusing on generating new leads in regions such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Sub-Saharan Africa.Strengthen market position within refining, olefins, and downstream chemicals segments.Identify and capitalize on opportunities through market dynamics, regulatory landscape, and industry trends.Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders in NOCs, IOCs, EPCs, project developers, and government agencies.Lead bid and proposal processes, collaborating with technical, commercial, and operational teams, managing proposals, negotiations, and contracts.Create deal summaries with project details, organization charts, and action plans.Develop concise reports on customer engagement and provide updates to internal stakeholders.Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance visibility and identify leads.Qualifications Minimum 8+ years in the energy industry, with 5+ years in business development or sales for Technology solutions.Background in Engineering or Technical fields preferred.Proven success with key clients in the MEA region.Experience engaging with senior clients and stakeholders.Strong English communication skills; Arabic skills are a plus.Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and understanding of local regulations.Personal Qualities Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales targets.Strategic, yet hands-on and delivery-focused.Willingness to travel.High integrity and credibility.Collaborative and team-oriented attitude.#J-18808-Ljbffr
