Join to apply for the Assistant Manager-Forensics role at ACCA Careers4 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants Typical Experience/Qualifications: We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager in Forensics with a strong background in forensic services, internal audit, or external audit.Job Description Typical Experience/Qualifications: We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager in Forensics with a robust background in forensic services, internal audit, or external audit.The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in a Big Four or similar firm and hold relevant certifications such as ACCA, ACA, CPA, CFE, CIA, or ACAMS.This role involves independently managing forensic assignments, contributing to business development, and supporting client engagements.Key Responsibilities Thorough knowledge and understanding of forensic service offerings within the context of an independent accounting firm.Knowledge of global/local risk management procedures of KPMG and ensuring compliance in day-to-day operations and forensic assignments.Independently handle small to medium-sized assignments.Assist management with business development activities of the department.Participate in client meetings, understand objectives and scope, assist in preparing proposals/terms of reference.Write relevant sections and/or complete forensic reports depending on the assignment.Build knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and forensic software/tools such as I2 chart.Stay updated on forensic material circulated internally and externally.Develop skills in fraud investigation, anti-bribery & corruption, fraud risk assessment, dispute advisory services, etc.Coach less experienced staff, especially on risk management procedures, technical guidance, working papers, and document collection.Report daily activities to the performance manager/team leader/manager.Relevant Advisory Skills And Behaviors Stay informed about market trends and competitor activity.Identify business opportunities and advise managers or partners.Work autonomously with minimal guidance.Take responsibility for work and team performance.Volunteer for additional responsibilities.Share useful knowledge with others.Seek developmental opportunities.Provide clear instructions and coach others.Adapt behavior to different situations and maintain good relationships.Analyze issues efficiently and suggest innovative solutions.Review team assumptions and conclusions for accuracy.Communicate honestly and clearly, even with difficult messages.Plan and monitor project progress against budgets and deadlines.Person Specifications Strong forensic background with experience in related fields (accounting, law enforcement, forensic technology, legal experience preferred).Excellent communication skills (proposal/report writing, presentations).Linguistic Skills Fluent in English – verbal & written.For further information, and to apply, please visit our website via the "Apply" button below.Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Other Industries Accounting#J-18808-Ljbffr
