Senior Government Relations Expert: Aviation, Satellite and Defense","Synopsis: A highly skilled professional is sought to develop, coordinate, and implement advocacy on behalf of telecommunications and radio frequency spectrum policy, regulatory, and licensing business interests in Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa (MENA). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of telecommunications, navigation, and surveillance systems and technologies, as well as international telecommunications radio regulations, government affairs, and regulatory processes in different countries."
This role requires establishing relationships with key telecommunications regulatory and policy officials at national, regional, and international levels. The successful candidate will also work closely with industry leaders and associations, developing coalitions and advocating for Boeing's spectrum initiatives across various satellite, defense, commercial space, and aviation projects.","Key Responsibilities: ","Represent Boeing's interests on telecommunications policy and licensing issues before government agencies, international and intergovernmental organizations, trade, and industry associations within the assigned geographic area.Support Boeing's advocacy efforts before the European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations (CEPT) and the Arab Spectrum Management Group (ASMG), as well as in regional satellite and aviation-related telecommunications and radio frequency spectrum groups.Obtain telecommunications licenses and authorizations in support of Boeing programs, products, and services as needed.Establish and maintain close contact with internal engineering and business leaders to understand their regulatory and policy requirements, particularly Boeing leadership in Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa.Write concise internal memos, external regulatory filings, and presentations to internal and external executive-level audiences. Experience explaining complex technical issues to a non-technical audience is essential.Work with all groups within the organization, being responsive to requests for support in a timely manner.Work on multiple parallel issues, demonstrating English language and writing skills, and the ability to work closely with a small remote team are critical to success in this position. Arabic language ability is advantageous.","External Relationship Management: ","External relationships and influence are crucial to this position.
