About Your Team This role sits within the Planning Department and reports directly to the Senior Planning Manager. The department is responsible for the end-to-end project scheduling, monitoring, and control across all phases of data centre construction. The team consists of Planning Engineers, Cost Controllers, and Document Controllers, working closely with project managers, commercial teams, and site operations. Your Role As a Planning Engineer, you will: Develop, update, and manage baseline programs and detailed schedules aligned with project milestones and budgets. Coordinate with project teams to track long-lead materials and manage resource-loading plans. Conduct risk analysis, variance tracking, and produce accurate progress reports. Liaise with internal stakeholders to define deliverables and ensure timely completion of activities. Prepare three-week and three-month look-ahead schedules and identify schedule deviations or delays. Maintain the constraint register and support EOT/claims submissions with delay analysis insights. What We're Looking For Experience: 5+ years of project planning experience, ideally within construction Knowledge: Deep understanding of planning methodologies, scheduling tools (Primavera P6/MS Project), and cost-effective project delivery. Expertise: Ability to manage complex programs, perform risk-based forecasting, and track performance efficiency through analytical tools. Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point). Strong reporting, analytical, and stakeholder communication skills. Degree in Engineering or related discipline. Experience with BIM-linked scheduling or Lean/Agile planning methods is an advantage. Able to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
