Job Purpose: The job purpose of a Strategy Manager revolves around developing and executing strategic initiatives that align with the organization's objectives, enhance its competitive position, and drive sustainable growth Lead the development of the organization's strategic plan by conducting thorough analyses of internal capabilities, market dynamics, competitive landscape, and industry trends. Collaborate with senior leadership to define strategic priorities, goals, and initiatives that support the organization's mission and vision. Roles, Responsibilities, Duties: Strategic Planning: Lead the development and execution of the organization's strategic plan in alignment with its mission, vision, and goals. Conduct analyses of internal capabilities, market dynamics, competitive landscape, and industry trends to inform strategic priorities. Define key strategic objectives, initiatives, and performance metrics to drive organizational growth and success. Market Analysis and Insights: Conduct comprehensive market research, customer segmentation, and competitive benchmarking to identify growth opportunities and market trends. Analyze industry dynamics, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decision-making and innovation. Business Performance Evaluation: Evaluate the performance of existing business units, product lines, and market segments to identify areas for improvement, optimization, and expansion. Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), financial metrics, and operational efficiency to drive continuous improvement and maximize shareholder value. Strategic Initiatives and Projects: Drive the execution of strategic initiatives and projects aimed at achieving organizational objectives and delivering measurable results. Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies to ensure successful implementation and realization of strategic goals. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and departmental leaders to ensure alignment between strategic objectives, operational plans, and resource allocation. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and transparency to drive organizational alignment and synergy. Performance Monitoring and Measurement: Establish mechanisms for monitoring and evaluating the progress, effectiveness, and impact of strategic initiatives. Define clear performance metrics, milestones, and accountability mechanisms to track progress, identify deviations, and drive continuous improvement. Change Management and Transformation: Lead change management initiatives and transformation programs to drive organizational agility, innovation, and resilience. Champion a culture of change readiness, adaptability, and learning to navigate dynamic market environments and industry disruptions. Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, board members, investors, and industry partners, to communicate strategic priorities, progress, and outcomes. Develop effective communication strategies and stakeholder engagement plans to build consensus and drive alignment around strategic initiatives. Risk Management and Contingency Planning: Identify potential risks, uncertainties, and disruptions that may impact the organization's strategic objectives and financial performance. Develop risk mitigation strategies, contingency plans, and scenario analyses to address potential threats and capitalize on opportunities. Thought Leadership and Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in strategic management, innovation, and business transformation. Foster a culture of creativity, experimentation, and thought leadership to drive innovation and competitive differentiation within the organization. Occupational and workplace Health and Safety responsibilities: In addition to all job specific responsibilities, all employees are required to adhere to all Aldar Estates health, safety and environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, practices, and relevant legal and statutory health, safety and environmental requirements and obligations. All employees are personally responsible to familiarize themselves with these policies, procedures, practices, updates, etc. Aldar Estates HSE department regularly updates existing and introduce new policies, procedures and practices and each employee is personally responsible to ensure they stay updated and compliant with all such updates and new additions. Information Security responsibilities: Comply with Aldar Estates Information Security Policies Be aware of and fulfil their information security responsibilities. Ensure whoever handles sensitive company information have taken the Security Awareness Training Know how to report a security incident (to IT Service Desk or Info Sec). Not Disable his/her OS firewall and/or Antivirus Restrict use to authorized purposes, Protect access accounts, privileges and associated passwords. Accept accountability of his/her individual user accounts, and maintain confidentiality Education & Qualification: A bachelor's degree in business, finance, strategy, or a related field is typically required. Advanced degrees such as an MBA or a master's in a relevant discipline are often preferred.
