Senior System Infrastructure Specialist

Job Description Serve as a technical authority in the field of system administration for complex operating systems. In large companies, this requires a deep understanding of global or multi-office network infrastructure.Develop and implement network technology policies that ensure seamless system operations.Install and configure new software and hardware, including server networks, devices, and firewalls.Monitor system performance, IT system operations, and storage utilization to optimize efficiency.Plan for necessary hardware or software upgrades to support system growth.Manage user accounts and assets, and assign and update security permissions on the network according to security policy.Provide escalated support with help desk requests.Lead a team of systems administrators, coordinating with different departments.Mentor team members and educate users.Design and maintain network storage, virtualized and non-virtualized server environments, and all WAN/LAN networking segments.Build and configure Windows and Linux Servers for Development, Corporate, and Production datacenter environments, leveraging automation tools for deployments and system consistency.Develop and operate various tools to monitor Network, Server, and Storage health and performance.Contribute to capacity planning, scalability, and budget management.Perform maintenance and upgrades during off-hours and provide 24/7 on-call support.Assist in root cause analysis of production issues and provide recommendations for identifying future issues more quickly.Resolve system emergencies with significant impact on user data and systems.Establish software/hardware standards and systems policies and procedures.Implement systems within broad technical or structural frameworks.Perform capacity planning for system configuration, software services, network services, load distribution, and service interrelationships among computer systems.
