Manager of Technical Operations

Job Title: Engineering Manager At our organization, we are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Manager to oversee the efficient operation of our engineering department. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that all maintenance and engineering practices are in line with our brand's operating standards.The ideal candidate will possess some college or advanced vocational training and four years of experience in general building maintenance and/or construction, as well as supervisory experience. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical disciplines, is also preferred.Key Responsibilities: Continuously improve maintenance and engineering practices to ensure optimal product quality and sustainability.Ensure adequate rostering and manning to meet requirements and organize external contractors as needed.Instill a cost-focused philosophy through training and education.Analyze and design projects, conduct investigations, and maintain full knowledge of engineering-related products and services.Establish and deliver pre-established financial returns related to revenue generation, profitability, and ROIC.Safeguard our pillars of sustainability and wellness, implementing strategic planning and development.Operate the property consistently with legal, statutory, and financial requirements and documentation, reporting systems, contractual obligations, security and safety protocols, communications, product and service standards, host management practices, and budgetary controls.Required Skills and Qualifications: Possess some college or advanced vocational training and four years of experience in general building maintenance and/or construction, as well as supervisory experience.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical disciplines.Professional certification and license if required by law.Specialized expertise in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and carpentry fields.Level 3 EPA Certification, HVAC and refrigeration certificate, licensed plumber and/or journeyman status for electrician and carpenter may be required.We Offer: A dynamic work environment, opportunities for professional growth and development, and a chance to contribute to the success of our organization.Apply Now: If you believe you have the skills and qualifications necessary to excel in this role, please submit your application.
