Guest experience is a true British heritage and history with a visit to one of the world's most celebrated ocean liners, now permanently docked in the new marina at Dubai's Port Rashid in the UAE.Job Description Present a positive first impression of the establishment's friendliness, excellent service and high standards.Greet guests upon arrival, inform guests of their wait time, monitor a waiting list, enter names into the computer system, and show guests to their table and bid them farewell as they leave.Inform guests about current promotions and who will be serving them to ensure a smooth handoff to the service staff.Answer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate service.Issue dining charges by verifying orders, calculating taxes, totaling bills for to-go orders, and receiving payments by validating credit charges, approving checks, and accepting currency.Handle guest reservation details from the reservation system, table allocation, dietary requirements, and billing.Qualifications Proficiency in Micros.Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.At least 1 year experience working in a similar role.Hospitality background is preferred.Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.#J-18808-Ljbffr
