Retail Cashier

Greet customers as they enter the store and assist them with their purchases.Scan and ring up items accurately using a cash register or point-of-sale system.Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.Count and reconcile cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.Answer customer questions and provide information about products, promotions, and store policies.Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including stocking bags and maintaining supplies.Upsell additional products or services to customers as appropriate.Handle returns and exchanges in accordance with company guidelines.Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.Follow all safety and security procedures to prevent theft and loss.Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred.Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in using cash registers or point-of-sale systems.Basic math skills and the ability to make accurate calculations quickly.#J-18808-Ljbffr
