Construction Supply Chain Coordinator

Job Description: To support site operations, you will coordinate the timely delivery, tracking, and documentation of construction materials, equipment, and supplies. Ensure smooth logistics flow between suppliers, warehouses, and construction sites to avoid project delays.Responsibilities: Track and coordinate daily deliveries of construction materials to various project sites.Ensure accurate and timely dispatch of tools, machinery, and consumables as per project needs.Liaise with site storekeepers to confirm receipt and report discrepancies.Transport & Vehicle Management: Arrange and monitor transportation of materials, tools, and labor between sites and storage facilities.Maintain records of vehicle movement, fuel consumption, and driver schedules.Coordinate vehicle maintenance schedules and documentation with the fleet team.Documentation & Reporting: Prepare delivery notes, gate passes, material request forms, and internal transfer documents.Maintain up-to-date logistics logs and records, including shipping documents and inventory reports.Support procurement and logistics officers with filing, tracking POs, and delivery confirmations.Site Logistics Support: Assist in mobilization and demobilization of construction sites (containers, site facilities, etc.).Coordinate movement of lifting equipment and cranes with site HSE and plant teams.Monitor offloading activities to ensure safety and compliance with site procedures.Coordination & Communication: Communicate with suppliers, subcontractors, and site supervisors for logistics-related updates.Escalate any delays, damages, or shortages to the Logistics Manager promptly.Support inventory counts and audits in site warehouses or laydown areas.Required Skills and Qualifications: Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.Experience: 2–4 years in logistics or materials coordination, preferably in the construction or contracting industry.Language: English (required), Arabic or Hindi is an advantage.Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, Word; ERP or logistics systems knowledge is a plus.
