Senior Systems Integration Specialist

About This Role We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Senior Design Engineer. In this role, you will work closely with our sales team to provide technical support and guidance on various projects.Acting as a technical consultant to the sales team, providing presales support by generating functional system descriptions, block flow diagrams, estimating hours, highlighting logistical challenges for consideration during pricing, and preparing equipment lists for customer proposals.Supporting project engineering and ongoing project consultation post-sales.Reviewing and validating the work of junior engineers.Key Responsibilities Translate customer requirements into functional system designs.Review pre-construction design and documentation.Identify cabling and miscellaneous material needs; design wall plates and overlays.Support Account Managers with labor and material estimates.Take ownership of project installation when required.Develop engineering and architectural drawings, calculations, acoustical modeling, or other data.Provide ongoing engineering support and assist with project sign-off.Partner with vendors to evaluate products as requested.Requirements Effective communication with internal teams, clients, and colleagues.Proven business writing skills.Proficiency with test and calibration equipment.Support for user acceptance testing.Ability to program, troubleshoot (AMX/Crestron), and diagnose complex system problems.Advanced computer skills for designing, configuring, and operating AV equipment.Self-motivated and capable of working independently to meet deadlines.Valid Driver's License and a Motor Vehicle Record meeting AVI-SPL standards.Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.Benefits Medical benefits, including dental.Paid holidays, sick days, and personal days.Dynamic company culture.Training and professional development opportunities.Why You'll Like Working Here A diverse and inclusive workplace.Ongoing training and development opportunities.A dynamic company culture.
