Aircraft Systems Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Systems Specialist to perform maintenance tasks on various aircraft systems and components. This position requires a strong understanding of aviation safety regulations and quality control standards.Key Responsibilities: Maintain and repair aircraft engines, avionics, landing gear, and structural components in accordance with FAA/EASA or equivalent national aviation standards.Diagnose mechanical and technical issues using manuals, schematics, and diagnostic equipment.Document all maintenance actions accurately in aircraft maintenance records and logs.Replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, or precision instruments.Collaborate with pilots, engineers, and other technicians to identify problems and recommend solutions.Ensure compliance with safety policies and maintain a clean hazard-free work area.Stay up-to-date with technical publications, bulletins, and continuing education/training.Operate ground support equipment and test aircraft systems as needed.Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (required).Degree or certificate in Aviation Maintenance Technology or a related field (preferred).Licenses/Certifications: FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate or equivalent national licensure (required).Inspection Authorization (IA) is a plus.Experience: 2 years of hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance (commercial, private, or military aircraft).Familiarity with major aircraft types is an advantage.Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics.Solid understanding of aviation safety regulations and quality control standards.Proficient in using diagnostic tools, computers, and maintenance software.Benefits: Opportunity to work with experienced professionals in the aviation industry.Possibility of career advancement and professional growth.Competitive salary and benefits package.Able to work in shifts including nights, weekends, and on-call rotations.Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
