Engineer Fixed Core

The purpose of the team to handle troubleshooting / resolving Fault Management, Customer & Carrier complains, efficiently communicating and effective incident handling. Also, will handle day to day efficiently monitoring IGW Network entities including Net Boss Alarms, U2000, SBC, HCS/HIPCC threads monitoring & SPS Core Nodes and in field of IPTV (internet protocol television) within Du and managing IPTV Network (Head-End and Meddle Cisco & Envivio devices. entities including Net Boss Alarms, EMS Application ROSA NMS (Cisco), SCOM (IPTV Application Servers Monitoring), IPTV Brix vision (2000) Probe technology (EXFO) monitoring Tools).Key Accountabilities Handling daily Incidents/TTs as per du operation policies and scope of work.Technical/Process leader for the Operation and Maintenance of the IPTV Headend and Middleware Networks that includes: Excellent knowledge for Headend devices (Splitters, amplifier, L-band distributor, DCM MKII 9902: DCM DRD, DCM GBE, DCM MFP, and DCM MUX), Acquisition server, Distribution server & VOD server Technical support of First level troubleshooting and Monitoring.Keep Team Lead and Manager up to date with regular progress reports on incidents progress.Establish and maintain effective relationship within du and external parties (Business partners, Commercial teams, Customer Operations, IT etc.) till the resolution of faults.Ensure monitoring and analysis of vendor performance for incident handling.1st level troubleshooting including Trouble Ticket Management.24/7 monitoring of IGW, Fixed Voice & IPTV KPI's and ensuring KPI's should met as per DU Network Standards.Prepare/Maintains an up-to-date documentation Manual/diagrams of the existing devices/solutions to help in incident handling and supporting in day-to-day operation tasks related to the domain.Prepare incidents related technical reports and documentation.Support new project/ services acceptance from SOC Operations. Monitoring all day-to-day activities within Service Operations Centre.CR Login/Logout.Qualifications: Minimum Bachelor degree in Telecommunication Engineering or related discipline Experience: 3-5 years of strong telecom knowledge and experience in the following technologies: Nokia & Huawei ATCA IGW, SBC & U2000 and Net Act IPTV Headend and Middleware Networks Technologies.Skills Good knowledge in programing and automation.Good knowledge in agile methodology.Must be able to work effectively in a 24 x 7 x 365 environment.Ability to handle multiple tasks at once, to prioritize, and demonstrate excellent follow-through on each task assigned.
