This role is central to shaping the visual identity of our products—from concept to shelf—by creating innovative and visually compelling packaging designs that align with our brand aesthetics, elevate consumer experience, and stand out in a competitive marketplace. The ideal candidate brings strong experience across both structural and graphic packaging design, from initial concept through to final production, with a solid understanding of 3D rendering tools, materials, and print processes.Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Packaging Design Development Oversee end-to-end packaging design for all product launches—developing creative designs, mockups, and production-ready artworks across primary and secondary packaging.- Rendering & Mockups Create high-quality 3D renders and mockups to bring packaging concepts to life for internal reviews, presentations, and marketing use.- Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with the product development team with the development and execution of optimized product packaging from concept through to print-ready artwork and assisting with approving artwork proofs alongside the packaging and quality team.- Production & Supplier Coordination Collaborate with suppliers and printers to ensure accurate execution of design across various materials and print techniques.- Packaging Guidelines Build and maintain packaging design guidelines and assets to support brand consistency.- Design Software Expertise Stay ahead of design tools and technologies, particularly in 3D rendering and packaging visualization.- Trend Research & Innovation Research and apply emerging trends in packaging design, materials, finishes, and sustainability to keep the brand forward-thinking and competitive.Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related creative discipline.- 7+ years of hands-on experience in design and packaging, ideally within a fast-paced agency or in-house creative team.- Excellent proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, In Design) and 3D design software.- In-depth understanding of packaging design, including dielines, material selection, and finishing techniques.- A strong portfolio showcasing conceptual depth, strategic brand storytelling, and a variety of packaging executions.- Proven ability to lead projects, manage timelines, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.- Fluency in English and Arabic; French is a plus.- Bonus: Previous experience in the beauty industry.Additional Requirements: - Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.- Exceptional communication and presentation skills to effectively convey ideas.- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.- Flexible and adaptable to fast-moving creative environments.- Open to constructive feedback, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.Premium Medical/Dental/Vision coverage Find your Magic Days Birthday leave Professional Development Days Employee discounts on all Kayali products Quarterly product gifting Kayali is committed to building diverse and inclusive teams and upholding an equal employment workplace that is free from discrimination.
