Architecture Studio 360 is a multi-disciplinary Design studio currently operating from three offices. Since its establishment a decade ago, the team has grown to 750+ Architects, Interior Designers and Engineers. We are a passionate team of creative talent driven by the goal of crafting sustainable built environment. Our portfolio of projects spans across multi-sectors including residential, hospitality, commercial, healthcare facilities, special projects and masterplans showcasing our commitment to transparency, customer centricity, quality, integrity and adding value through a human-centric approach. We are currently expanding our studio, where our team seamlessly integrates with Architecture, Structures, MEP, Landscape, Interiors and specialist to deliver a variety of innovative and value driven real estate projects.As Head of Design and Approvals Team, you will have the opportunity to oversee a dynamic team of over 350 design professionals based in our Dubai Design Studio. You will be leading our multidisciplinary teams through the design, approval, and execution phases of a wide range of projects—from residential developments to large-scale mixed-use communities and hospitality projects, optimizing operational efficiency, and maintaining the highest standards of design excellence.Responsibilities include Managing the entire design studio across all disciplines of Architecture, Interior, Structure, MEP and Landscape, aligning department heads of Studio360 to AZIZI Development's vision.Maintaining operational ties with all external and internal stakeholders for project delivery.Leading regular project meetings to ensure all technical aspects of projects are assigned and resolved to ensure projects are completed on time and as required by the originator's functional brief.Monitoring department performance and appraisal systems.Managing the expectation of AZIZI Development (Client)Owning project programmes of Studio360 working closely with the Deputy Head of Design and Engineering.Ensuring consultants/vendor's inputs are on time for project completion.Report all data on projects and its management as needed by the Studio Leadership as per reporting timelines set.Ensure adherence to compliance of coordination procedures and take charge in resolving any coordination issues of each project.Recruit, mentor and provide mentoring and guidance to the team throughout work processes.Attend meetings with external consultants and authorities when needed and following up on deliverables.Here's what you'll need Bachelor/Master's degree in Architecture or equivalent with at least 20 years of experience in industry You must have experience of managing a multidisciplinary Design Studio of significant size i.e. 100 design employees +Ability to develop world class management/administration practices.Demonstrated track record of delivering large real estate development (premium mixed-use developments and hospitality projects).Excellent contract management and team management skills.Advanced negotiations skills to deal with potential external and internal "pain points".In depth knowledge of design/construction techniques, sequencing, and management.Sound knowledge of constructability, design standardization, operational excellence.Well conversant with IBC, DM codes, NFPA, UDC or any other relevant to the project and scope.Strong communication, presentation and convincing skills.Seniority level Seniority level Executive Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Azizi Developments by 2x Get notified about new Head of Design jobs in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.Sr. Art Director, Brand Innovation Lab, Brand Innovation Lab MENADubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates 8 hours ago Deputy Head of Department
