Direct message the job poster from Swank Development The ideal candidate for this position will provide project management for planning, and organizing all aspects of the task related to the relevant projects. As part of this role, the manager will have to oversee the works of his peers acting as the point of contact to handle any issues regarding the project. Key Responsibilities: 1. Project Planning & Pre-Construction Review and coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP drawings with consultants and internal design teams. Participate in the preparation of project execution plans, procurement strategies, and budgets. Support the permitting and authority approvals process (e.g., DDA, DM, RTA, DEWA, Civil Defense). Assist in contractor prequalification, tendering, and appointment. 2. Construction Management Oversee day-to-day construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans, quality standards, safety protocols, and deadlines. Monitor site progress through weekly inspections, progress reports, and coordination with site engineers and contractors. 3. Cost & Schedule Control Track construction budgets and report variances to the Development or Project Director. Review and validate contractor progress claims, variations, and change orders. Ensure the project is delivered within the approved budget and timeline. 4. Stakeholder Coordination Serve as a primary point of contact between the developer, contractors, consultants, and local authorities. Attend site meetings, technical workshops, and coordination sessions with design, MEP, and structure teams. 5. Quality & Safety Assurance Enforce implementation of QA/QC processes and safety regulations as per local codes and best practices. Liaise with third-party inspectors and government agencies for necessary inspections and approvals. 6. Handover & Post-Completion Coordinate with FM (Facility Management) teams and assist in transitioning to operations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering/Architecture/Construction Management. 5–8 years of experience in construction/development project management, preferably with a real estate developer. Strong knowledge of local authority regulations (Dubai Municipality, RTA, DEWA, etc.). Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in project management tools (Primavera, MS Project) and MS Office Suite. PMP or RICS certification is a plus.
