Facility Maintenance Engineer
Description
Job Overview This role involves managing overall facility and administrative activities, including: Daily, weekly, monthly technical checks as per the planned preventive maintenance schedule.Maintenance and troubleshooting of conveyor systems involving automation equipment such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs), supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems, human-machine interfaces (HMIs), variable frequency drives (VFDs), field sensors, sortation systems, and control cabinets.Attending telephonic calls for corrective maintenance, service, and repair works.Coordinating with vendors for systems under warranty or annual maintenance contracts.Electrical distribution system maintenance.Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting power distribution systems, branch circuits, lighting systems, transformers, wiring methods, and materials.Handling relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components like photoelectric sensors, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, track switches, and encoders.Supporting production in a safe and customer-focused manner.Performing minor refurbishment and upgrade work for building finishes, fixtures, fittings, equipment, fixed furniture, and operational plant services equipment such as trolleys, cages, and carts.Regularly checking fire alarms and fire extinguishers.Maintenance activities like oiling and greasing of carts, trolleys, pumps, and rolling shutters.Attending electrical works, issuing permits for height work and hot work.Handling minor civil and plumbing corrective maintenance calls.Providing daily reports on technical troubleshooting closures, open cases, and root cause analysis.Managing soft services activities such as pest control, housekeeping, scrap disposal, and garbage collection, including handling agency staff and overall shift management.About the Team We aim to be the most innovative and agile team, setting benchmarks in safety, reliability, and maintenance engineering, recognized for sustainability initiatives, cost optimization, and inclusivity, with a goal to be industry leaders across geographies by 2030.Key Qualifications A degree in Electrical/Electronics, Controls & Instrumentation is required, with three years of experience.Additional Information The organization promotes an inclusive culture and provides accommodations for applicants with disabilities during the hiring process.
