Job Description PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Washes dirty wares using dishwashing machines according to prescribed procedures.Removes cleaned wares from dishwashing machines, sorts them by type, size, design, and outlet; scrapes food residue or soaks stained ware with solution when necessary.Washes and cleans all used pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils.Polishes silverware for all functions and outlets.Prepares and delivers clean wares, removing stains and deposits, and separates damaged items.Collects empty bottles from kitchen and outlets, sorts them in the bottle room, and places them in proper containers; stocks containers properly.Maintains sanitation and hygiene in wet and dry garbage storage areas.Ensures cleanliness of service equipment such as cooling ranges, griddles, ovens, hoods, pots, pans, floors, walls, reach-in and walk-in chillers, and other kitchen utensils.Delivers empty trash bins to kitchen areas and outlets; collects filled bins and empties them in the garbage room.Prepares equipment for outside catering and related functions.Monitors and records the temperature of dishwashing machines in the Temperature Control Sheet.Uses cleaning detergents and chemicals properly, following dilution instructions per MSDS to prevent wastage.Operates dishwashing, glass washing machines, decarbonizers, scrubbing machines, wet vacuums, and other stewarding equipment.Cleans and maintains orderliness in assigned areas and with work equipment such as kitchens, food prep areas, garbage and bottle rooms, dishwashing machines, sorting tables, sinks, trash cans, and other equipment.Ensures guest satisfaction and promotes the hotel's image by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation of all equipment and tableware in restaurants, bars, and guest areas.Maintains grooming standards as per Dusit policy.Reports to superiors on time and communicates important information from previous shifts.Participates in training and meetings organized by hotel management to improve skills and knowledge.Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.Report Line & Communication Reports to Stewarding Supervisor.Cooperates and interacts with colleagues.Others Engages in continuous learning through own IDP.Performs any other duties assigned by the supervisor.Accountabilities Represents Dusit's brand and values at all times, establishing relationships and delivering exceptional guest experiences while promoting Thai graciousness.Company's Culture Communicates and embodies the company's vision, mission, and values, leading by example and cascading these to subordinates—"Proud to belong and contribute".Confidentiality Ensures confidentiality and secure storage of all intellectual property and databases, adhering to hotel policies on internet and email use.
