Working Days: 6 days Location: Sharjah Office The role holder is responsible for evaluating Computing & Storage infrastructure requests from Tiger Group stakeholders and designing and implementing solutions, including deployment of servers, storage, backup, archiving systems, and other infrastructure services. The role holder is also responsible for protecting and safeguarding TIGER GROUP's infrastructure operations from internal and external threats, ensuring data integrity, and developing, monitoring, and maintaining infrastructure capacity plans to meet business needs.Additionally, the role involves managing and securing the organization's network infrastructure, including designing, implementing, and maintaining LAN/WAN networks, troubleshooting network issues, managing hardware like routers, switches, and firewalls, and implementing security measures against vulnerabilities. The candidate should have experience with network technologies, security products (such as Cisco and Fortinet), and strong troubleshooting skills.Accountabilities Core Responsibilities: Evaluate infrastructure requests and manage the design and deployment of servers, operating systems (e.g., Windows, Suse Linux), server consolidation technology, database systems, storage, backup, archiving systems, and automated infrastructure services.Oversee the operations and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including cloud services, servers, storage, data networks, operating systems, desktops, and end-user systems.Lead and support the rollout of new Operating System releases.Support disaster recovery planning and review data recovery plans periodically.Develop guidelines, policies, and procedures for effective computing and storage operations.Guide storage and backup strategies and technologies aligned with the overall IT strategy.Design, develop, and implement storage, backup, and archiving systems across multiple locations.Review and approve change requests, ensuring proper planning and implementation of server, storage, and backup system changes.Research and select external cloud solutions and services.Perform tasks within a Dev Ops environment, supporting rapid infrastructure deployment in collaboration with software developers.Collaborate with IT teams to develop documented policies, procedures, and monitoring systems.Manage cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon, and Google Cloud.Design and implement network hardware and software configurations to meet business requirements, including firewalls, routers, and switches.Monitor network performance, ensure efficiency, and resolve issues.Implement and manage network security protocols, especially firewalls (Fortinet, Cisco).Address network problems and provide technical support for escalated issues.Maintain detailed documentation of network infrastructure, policies, and procedures to support fault tolerance and compliance.Analyze network performance for optimization opportunities.Coordinate with other IT departments to ensure cohesive operation across platforms.Self-Management: Set and achieve performance goals in discussion with the manager.Identify personal development needs and create an individual development plan.Stay updated with professional developments, new techniques, and current issues through ongoing education.Educational Qualifications and Certificates Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.ITSM/ITIL certification.Requisite certifications from MCSE, Azure, and Amazon.Linux certification preferred.#J-18808-Ljbffr
