This role involves end-to-end development, with a focus on Agile practices, technical design, and automated testing. You will also supervise junior software engineers, ensuring alignment with strategy, design principles, and delivery frameworks.Accountabilities Execute strategy by applying design principles and delivery frameworks to ensure high-quality outcomes.Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in software engineering, leading and mentoring software associates and engineers.Guide and validate application development to ensure alignment with best practices, coding standards, and SDLC frameworks.Support Communities of Practice (Co P) initiatives to modernize, scale, and mature software engineering capabilities.Conduct peer code reviews, offering constructive feedback to continuously improve code quality and team performance.Contribute to low-level technical design and architecture in alignment with high-level solutions and business requirements.Collaborate with Agile teams to break down user stories into manageable tasks for efficient implementation.Proactively identify and recommend new tools, frameworks, or processes to improve development efficiency.Take full ownership of the quality and integrity of your deliverables throughout the development lifecycle.Maintain clear, effective communication with team members across all phases of implementation.Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or related field.6+ years of experience in designing, coding, and maintaining medium to large web applications using the following tech stack: Web Technologies - Angular, Angular.JS, React.JS, Node.JSBack End Technologies - Java8+, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Boot Webflux, Restful API, Microservices, Design Patterns Database Technologies - Relational databases: Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres; No SQL databases: Mongo DB, Elastic Search, Cassandra Cloud Technologies - Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, Google Cloud Dev Ops Tools: GIT, Docker, Open Shift, Kubernetes, Jenkins Build & Release: Maven, Ant, Gradle Quality: Sonar Qube Strong Agile software development skills and systems analytical and technical design skills.Solid understanding of testing concepts such as unit testing, functional testing, and test automation.About Etihad Airways Etihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE, was formed in 2003 and quickly became one of the world's leading airlines.
