Elevator Maintenance Specialist

The role of an Elevator Maintenance Specialist is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of elevators and other lifting devices. As part of our team, you will be responsible for managing field operations within a designated geographical area.Key Responsibilities: Provide management information and insights on all aspects of work area performance to facilitate discussion and decision making.Familiarize yourself with departmental policies, processes, and standard operating procedures to ensure work is carried out consistently.Oversee day-to-day operations of team employees to guarantee zero accidents, low callback rates, reduced labor and spare parts consumption, and zero cancellations.Distribute tasks among team members in a balanced manner, cascading organizational plans into individual accountabilities.Conduct safety audits at client sites to ensure adherence to OTIS safe working procedures and WWJSSS requirements.Evaluate performance metrics such as callback/unit/year, number of hours/unit/unit, and material cost/unit/year to devise corrective actions aimed at improving team performance.Maintain close relationships with employees and customers to maximize customer satisfaction.Act as second-level support on technical issues.Track team utilization against plan to ensure productivity in operations.Support junior colleagues with service/maintenance operations at client sites, acting as a coach to help develop their skills further.Deliver formal and informal training on technical tasks for team members to enhance operational effectiveness.Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering Minimum 7 years as Service Supervisor Experience handling key clients is preferred We are committed to fostering a supportive environment where employees are motivated and empowered to perform at their full potential.
