Strategic Planner

We are seeking an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join our team in Dubai.The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the project team for all planning functions, ensuring that issues within the programme are highlighted and understood. They will review programmes submitted by contractors, comment on concerns, address them, and make recommendations to the Project Director/client.The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in the field, with a degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant discipline. They should be proficient in multiple software applications, including Primavera, and have strong attention to detail and analytical skills.Responsibilities include: Providing support to the project team for all planning functions Reviewing programmes submitted by contractors Commenting on concerns and addressing them Making recommendations to the Project Director/client Reporting areas of non-compliance for resolution between clients and their partners Delivering Period Programme Updates and inputting to project reports Monitoring progress at site on a daily/weekly/monthly basis and preparing monthly reports to the client Determining the eligibility of contractors for claims/time extensions Benefits include: A competitive salary and benefits package A dynamic and supportive work environment Ongoing training and development opportunities This is a full-time role based in Dubai, requiring the successful candidate to be available for on-site work six days a week.The ideal candidate will have a passion for planning and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Management and Manufacturing Industry: Architecture and Planning
