Bachelor of Technology/Engineering (Civil)Nationality: Any Nationality Vacancy: 1 Vacancy Job Description We are looking for a Cost Control Engineer responsible for monitoring, controlling, and forecasting project costs to ensure expenditures align with budgets and financial plans. The role involves tracking project progress, analyzing variances, and providing accurate financial reports to support decision-making.Cost Estimation & Budgeting Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and feasibility studies.Conduct cost analyses to evaluate project financial viability.Manage and update project cost reports regularly.Quantity Surveying Prepare bills of quantities (BOQ), schedules of works, and tender documents.Evaluate and validate contractor claims, including variations and change orders.Conduct measurement and valuation of works on-site.Cost Control & Monitoring Monitor project costs against the approved budget and flag variances.Implement cost-saving strategies without compromising project quality.Track and forecast project cash flow and ensure timely reporting.Procurement Management Evaluate supplier and subcontractor bids for cost-effectiveness.Negotiate contracts and procurement terms to optimize expenditure.Coordinate with the procurement team to prepare and issue contracts and purchase orders.Contract Administration Manage contractual risks and resolve disputes effectively.Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.Assist in drafting contractual correspondence.Reporting & Documentation Prepare periodic cost and progress reports for management.Maintain accurate records of all cost and quantity-related activities.Ensure timely submission of financial documents and certifications.Stakeholder Coordination Liaise with project managers, consultants, contractors, and clients to align on budgets and timelines.Act as a point of contact for cost-related queries during the project lifecycle.Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 5-6 years in cost control and quantity surveying, preferably in large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.Disclaimer: Naukrigulf.com is a platform connecting jobseekers and employers.
