Job Title: Professional Neonatal Nurse Specialist Work as a highly skilled and dedicated Neonatal Nurse Specialist in the NICU, delivering exceptional care to premature and critically ill newborns. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and thrives in a dynamic setting, making a significant difference in the lives of our youngest patients.Duties and Responsibilities: Regularly monitor and assess vital signs and neonatal patients' conditions.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the neonatal medical team.Closely work with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals in patient care.Develop and adjust individualized care plans based on patients' unique needs.Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care and progress.Provide emotional support and education to families dealing with the NICU experience.Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures for neonatal care.Operate and maintain specialized medical equipment used in the NICU environment.Evaluate and ensure the neonatal unit's cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety regulations.Engage in continuous education and training programs to enhance clinical skills.Respond promptly to emergency situations and perform necessary resuscitative measures.Requirements: Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or an equivalent qualification.Minimum two years of nursing experience in a critical care setting.Previous experience working in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is highly preferred.Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Basic Life Support (BLS).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate demeanor.Ability to work effectively in a high-stress and dynamic medical environment.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple patients' needs.
