Your role will involve collaborating across AWS to uphold safety and security standards while providing high capacity at low costs, within an inclusive culture that encourages innovation and ownership.We are looking for a Logistics Specialist to join our expanding team. The role involves reviewing data center inventory, managing inbound shipments, and maintaining stock levels to support build and repair activities. Your work will help ensure the availability and reliability of our data center operations, supporting the world's largest cloud infrastructure.Key Responsibilities Understand transportation, shipping, receiving, and inventory control processes, adhering to safety standards.Perform manual tasks such as assembling, addressing, and shipping materials, handling incoming shipments, unpacking, and verifying contents.Load and unload equipment using pallet jacks.Maintain accountability of stock, process inbound shipments, and support stock level management.Collaborate with the Logistics Manager to optimize parts flow and track inventory movement.Work with Data Center Technicians and Procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of parts and equipment.Communicate with vendors to resolve issues and clarify business requirements.Support 24/7 operations, including receiving parts, maintaining inventory, and distributing to technicians and engineers.Transport parts, racks, and equipment between locations, including driving transportation vehicles.Handle sensitive materials and work around moving mechanical parts.Additional Details Work in-person at site locations, with data entry, reporting, and metrics management.Maintain accurate billing and shipping records.Perform physical activities such as pushing, pulling, bending, and walking for prolonged periods.Work in noisy, sometimes hot or cold environments, with potential overtime as needed.Physical ability to work with heavy objects, operate tools, and maintain safety standards.About the Team & Culture We value diverse experiences and encourage candidates with varied backgrounds to apply.
