Senior Infrastructure Planning Specialist

Expertise in transport and infrastructure project planning, cost control, and management is required for a senior role.This position involves leading project planning and cost control activities across various projects, including transportation and infrastructure initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience with Primavera (P6) software, as well as strong skills in cost and planning. Additionally, the candidate must be confident in client-facing responsibilities and able to contribute to both strategic planning and day-to-day project control operations.About the Role Lead and manage project planning and cost control activities across various projects, including transportation and infrastructure initiatives.This includes preparing, updating, and monitoring Primavera P6 schedules to ensure alignment with project milestones. The successful candidate will also coordinate with design, supervision, and commercial teams to align progress and forecasts.A key responsibility of this role is analyzing and reporting project performance metrics, including schedule variance, cost variance, and earned value. The candidate will also prepare monthly reports, dashboards, and presentations for client meetings.Other responsibilities include supporting claims and variations analysis from a planning and cost perspective, identifying risks and proposing mitigation strategies with the project team, and ensuring compliance with internal and client-specific project controls procedures.In addition, the candidate will act as a key point of contact for client representatives, contractors, and stakeholders, and guide and mentor junior team members when required.Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in design supervision consultancy within the transport and infrastructure sector. Experience on Abu Dhabi-based infrastructure and transport projects is essential.Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6, Excel, and project control software is required, as well as a proven track record in cost control, cash flow forecasting, and schedule management.
