Plant Operations Director

Job Title: Plant Operations Director About the Role: We are seeking a seasoned Plant Operations Director to oversee the full lifecycle execution of a mid-size sour gas treatment plant project in Northern Iraq. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in oil and gas project management, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects involving H₂S-rich sour gas.Key Responsibilities: Lead all technical, commercial, and strategic aspects of the project as the primary point of accountability Oversight of EPC contractors and vendors Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and standards Manage site teams as a strong leader, decisive and solution-oriented Expertise in leading projects through design, engineering, FEED, commissioning, construction, and handover Requirements: 20+ years of experience in oil and gas project management Successful completion of at least 2 mid-size sour gas treatment plant projects from start to handover Degree in Mechanical, Process, or Chemical Engineering (or similar with required experience)Benefits: The position offers a highly competitive remuneration package, including private medical insurance, annual leave flights, and a bonus (discretionary, performance-based).
