Construction Estimation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Estimation Engineer to join our team. This is a highly technical role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration abilities.","Analyzing project drawings and specifications to determine the scope of work.Quantifying materials, labor, and equipment required for construction and landscape projects.Utilizing estimation software and historical data to prepare accurate cost estimates.Collaborating with the bidding team to prepare comprehensive and competitive bid proposals.Assessing subcontractor and vendor quotes to ensure alignment with project requirements.Identifying potential risks and uncertainties in project estimates.Developing contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies.Recommending alternative materials or construction methods to optimize project costs.Evaluating cost-saving opportunities without compromising project quality.","Key responsibilities include: ","Maintaining detailed records of cost estimates, bids, and related documentation.Providing clear and comprehensive documentation for internal and external stakeholders.Collaborating with project teams, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather necessary information.Presentation of cost estimates and bid proposals to clients and stakeholders.","In addition to the above, all employees are required to adhere to the company's health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures, as well as relevant legal and statutory requirements.","Requirements","Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, Agriculture, or a related field.Professional certification or relevant training in construction estimation is preferred.At least 5 years' experience in tendering and estimation.Landscaping experience is an added advantage.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.","We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.","Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates.
