We aim to expand our offerings and improve capabilities to meet customer needs.For more information, visit www.gidi.it.G.D is part of Coesia, a global group of industrial and packaging solutions companies based in Bologna, Italy, operating in 36 countries with over 8,000 employees as of 2023.About the Role We are seeking an experienced Electronic Technician to join our branch in Sharjah Free Zone, United Arab Emirates.Main responsibilities include: Installing machines such as cigarette makers and packers at customer factories in the UAE, with availability as needed.Conducting on-site testing of tobacco machinery and connected equipment.Modifying and upgrading customer machines.Performing machine maintenance activities at customer facilities.Reporting progress to the supervisor.What You Need to Be Successful Secondary education, preferably technical.At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.Experience with PLC and Beckhoff technology is a plus.Ability to read electrical diagrams.Strong understanding of electronic machine components.Experience using tools and measuring instruments.Fluent in English, both spoken and written.Basic skills in MS Office.Willingness to travel abroad at least 50% of the time.Coesia is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and inclusion.Additional Details Seniority level: Entry level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Manufacturing and Production Industry: Automation Machinery Manufacturing#J-18808-Ljbffr
