Teller - Emirati Talent (Dubai Mall Branch)Teller - Emirati Talent (Dubai Mall Branch)1 month ago Be among the first 25 applicants Manage and handle the cash / cheques transactions at the teller counter and ensure the delivery of quality service to customers while adhering to operational controls and avoiding cash excesses and shortages.Duties and Responsibilities: a) Meet transaction processing standards and maintain high level of customer service standards.b) Process cash transactions (deposits / withdrawals) in both local and foreign currency and ensure that cash is balanced at the end of the day.c) Verify signature(s) on payment cheques & ensure that these are approved as per authority levels prior to disbursement.d) Accept and process all types of clearing / collection cheques.e) Issue pays orders and drafts.f) Monitor cash deposit amounts / quality of notes in order to detect unusual transactions (money laundering, forgery) etc.g) Highlight security concerns to the Chief Teller and / or Branch Operations Managerh) Achieve set targets in terms of service standards for customer transactions.i) Alert the Chief Teller / Branch Manager / Branch Operations Manager or unusual transactions (money laundering / forgery) that may be detected.j) Maintain high service standards consistently.k) Manage cash position of the branch / Till in order to ensure that sufficient cash held for customer. Verify large cash holding of cash or its particular denominationsl) Act as custodian of Cash Safe in the Vault.m) Sort out soiled notes and deposit these at the Central Bank.
