Data Analyst and Epidemiologist

The Data Reporting and Analytics Consultant plays a crucial role in managing and analyzing genomic and EHR data, requiring expertise in SAS/SQL skills and experience with large datasets, focusing on epidemiology research.Key Responsibilities Manage and analyze genomic and EHR data to support epidemiology research.Work with RPGEH scientists on analytical projects using EHR and genomic data.Prepare preliminary data and de-identified analytical datasets for research projects.Organize, manage, and document the data resources of the program.This position requires pursuing self-development and effective relationships with others by providing resources, information, advice, and expertise with coworkers and customers.Requirements Expertise in SAS and SQL environments.Prior experience working on Unix-like environments and HPC systems.Familiarity with shell scripts and R/Python environments.Experience handling large scale datasets, particularly genomic data from whole genome SNP microarrays, exome, and whole genome sequence data.Preferece will be given to candidates with background and training in biostatistics and epidemiology. The consultant will complete work assignments by applying up-to-date expertise in the subject area to generate creative solutions.
