Talent Acquisition Drydocks World #Hiring Energy Engineer Job Summary: The Energy Engineer will play a crucial role in reducing energy use and developing sustainability initiatives within our facilities, infrastructure, and operations, aligning with strategies for sustainability, energy, and carbon emission reductions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in energy management, engineering principles, and a passion for implementing energy-efficient technologies. Collect and analyze energy consumption data for all Drydocks facilities, including yard and accommodation areas, to develop energy baselines and benchmarking. Conduct energy audits and assessments to identify opportunities for energy savings and efficiency improvements. Develop and implement strategies to optimize energy consumption across our facilities. Analyze energy performance data and recommend solutions to enhance energy efficiency. Support the development and execution of sustainability programs and initiatives. Monitor and report on sustainability metrics and performance indicators. Provide technical guidance on energy-efficient equipment and systems. Maintain working knowledge of applicable ERP systems related to asset management (preferably IFS). Stay updated with the latest advancements in energy technology and best practices. Possess strong knowledge of energy management systems, energy-efficient technologies, and sustainability practices. Education: Bachelor's degree in Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Proven experience of 5+ years in energy engineering or a similar role, preferably within the maritime or industrial sectors.
