Simulation Operations Specialist

**Job Title: ** Simulator Technician About This Role We are excited to invite talented individuals to support the UAV simulators located at Liwa Airbase. In this dynamic role, you'll play a key part in ensuring smooth, efficient, and top-quality operations at our training center.We are seeking candidates who are passionate about helping us achieve our goal of delivering world-class flight simulator training. As part of our vision to be the global training partner of choice, you will contribute to enhancing safety, efficiency, and readiness across all aspects of our training center operations.Key Responsibilities: Support all technical and operational aspects of the Flight Simulator Training Devices.Attend flight crew and maintenance calls, perform daily readiness support flyouts as required, perform scheduled preventative maintenance, as well as running Qualification Test Guides (QTGs) where required.Identify, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex training device issues and AOGs.Identify recurring issues and work to pursue permanent solutions.Seek and make improvements to procedures related to various training device maintenance tasks.Through coaching and mentoring, provide on-the-job technical training to other technicians that will foster the professional development of all personnel.Work with specialists on complex issues that require extensive testing, troubleshooting, research, and design.Assure, maintain, and support the FSTD operations Management System, including implementation and adopting processes and procedures as deemed required.Perform minor software, hardware, and/or CDB updates when required.Maintain, keep track of, and request consumable items and tools required to perform the PMTs and Daily Readiness.Support logistics duties including yearly inventories, rearrangement of stores, packing, preparation for shipping, etc.Pursue knowledge and skills to strive to become a technical expert in one or more simulator systems (i.e., Visual, Motion, Flight Controls, etc.).Required Skills and Qualifications: You will hold a Technical College Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computers, Mechatronics, or Aviation Field.Have at least 3 years of work experience with flight simulators.Excellent knowledge of the English language (read, spoken, and written).Highly customer-oriented with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers.Skilled working knowledge of computer mainframe/architecture, networking, operating systems, and programming languages.
