Reservations Assistant Job We are seeking a highly skilled Reservations Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality staff, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's reservations process.The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for managing reservations, answering guest inquiries, and providing quality service according to brand standards.Key Responsibilities: Reservation Management: Maximize hotel occupancy through efficient reservation management, including downloading bookings from external systems and monitoring no-shows.Guest Service: Provide exceptional customer service by answering guest inquiries about hotel services, facilities, hours, and local attractions.VIP and Special Requests: Handle VIP and special requests efficiently and accurately, maintaining full knowledge of rates, room types, hotel products, and competitors.Knowledge and Communication: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of rates, room types, hotel products, and competitors, and communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and external partners.Skill Requirements: 1-2 years of experience in a similar role at a 4* or 5* hotel, strong technical, organizational, and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and work independently or as part of a team.Benefits: IHG is a great place to work, we celebrate diversity and welcome guests from around the world.
