Senior Control Systems Design Engineer

Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Design Engineer to join our team in Dubai. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for designing and developing instrumentation and control systems for Sewerage Treatment plants.Responsibilities: Develop concept design and detail design development for tender and construction levels of instrumentation and control systems.Create process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) for efficient system operation.Generate field instruments, PLC I/O lists from P&IDs.Prepare cable schedules and route diagrams, as well as conduit development plans.Design control system architecture/network diagrams for seamless integration.Create panel elevation drawings, general arrangement, loop/wiring diagrams, and control schematics.Design electrical equipment layout and plans for optimal performance.Develop technical specifications, scope of work, and bill of quantities documents.Establish basic control philosophy for plant control systems.Prepare datasheets and purchase specifications for field instruments and control systems.Update project websites with the latest information.Collaborate with civil, mechanical, and process disciplines for effective project execution.Communicate with internal clients globally for input information and project status.Perform other duties assigned by supervisor/management.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation & Control Engineering or relevant field.Minimum 10-15 years of experience in control systems design and development.Proficiency in Siemens, Rockwell Automation, PLC, and Emerson DCS systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.Experience in Middle East region projects is an added advantage.Knowledge of international standards like ISA, BS, IEC, and NEMA.Excellent communication, presentation, learning attitude, and teamwork skills.Familiarity with water/wastewater treatment processes and O&G sectors is advantageous.About the Role: This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative control systems.
