Purchasing and Inventory Coordinator Job Summary This role is responsible for receiving and staging merchandise by department, marking it appropriately for placement in the facility, and delivering it to the relevant department. The ideal candidate will be able to stack received merchandise on pallets or carts, complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies, and notify the manager/supervisor of low stock levels in a timely manner.Main Responsibilities: Receive and stage merchandise by department Mark merchandise appropriately for placement in the facility Deliver merchandise to the relevant department Stack received merchandise on pallets or carts Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies Notify the manager/supervisor of low stock levels Receive deliveries and store perishables properly Inspect deliveries and verify freshness, cleanliness, consistency, and quality Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items Adhere to food safety and handling policies and procedures Required Skills and Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent Related Work Experience: No related work experience required Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required License or Certification: None required We Offer: A dynamic and inclusive work environment Ongoing training and development opportunities A competitive salary and benefits package EEO Statement: Marriott International is an equal opportunity employer.
